The Big Bad Wolf Lives
It’s been announced that the Big Bad Wolf will not just be torn down and scrapped, rather it will be relocated to the National Roller Coaster Museum.
I’m not thinking that it will be rideable, but it will still be assembled. I’m in the airport now so I can’t give a full post, but I’ll be updating this when I get more details.
Update:
As mentioned in a comment by a reader named Randall, the Wolf will not be fully reassembled when/if the National Roller Coaster Museum finally gets off the ground, rather they will have a train and one or more track sections as well as the signage.

If this happens I may have to move just to see it everyday. Ok, maybe not, but dang if it doesn’t make me very happy to the point a tear has just fell from my eye. Thank you Lord, for answering a prayer. If only it could be operational… but I will take whatever the Coaster Museum can give us! If you find out for sure, let me know so I can personally thank those involved with the transfer!
At IAAPA 2009 the coaster museum said that busch gardens donated a complete train, 60 ft of track, and all big bad wolf signs to the museum for a display
60ft is just enough to put the train on. I imagine it will be the train sitting against a wall on a short section of track with the signs and some pics of when it was running in front of it.
