Announcement Coming From The Park By The End Of The Month

By Chris

There is increasing speculation that an announcement will be coming from the park by the end of the month and I have specifically heard that the announcement could be coming as soon as this Wednesday (1/20). It’s hard to say whether or not this will be the BIG announcement regarding the replacement project for the Big Bad Wolf, but I’m leaning towards it not being about that. I’m thinking this announcement will let us know what Everwyld is, but who knows, maybe the park won’t make us wait to find out what will be replacing BBW.

I think the BIG announcement will be coming in March just prior to Pass Holder Preview Day and if the announcement does come then, it will not include all of the information about the rumored multi-year project.

What do you think? Discuss in our FORUMS.

I recently at Christmas Town, Busch Gardens Europe spoke to a worker that said he had been working there for quite some time. The big announcement that is rumored is actually true. He told me that an expansion to the France area would be made making the walk from France to Ireland a shorter walk. There will also be an added country in the near future, also rumored as Spain. The new country he said will be in the area where the old Drachen Fire coaster was. The new country would include authentic old country spanish buildings and would include a new major coaster. He said that there is a major possibility of getting ride of the roman rapids and adding a new bridge across the Rhine river so that it would make the flow of the park go better. The animals that were there at the end of Christmas town are there to stay for a while. A viewing of them will be in new france somewhere he said in the future, but for now they can only be viewed on the train new festa italia. The big purple roller coaster apollo’s chariot also has a chance of being removed along with all of festa italia. The only way to keep the area he said is to get a new bridge at the end where roman rapids are so that it won’t be a dead end causing people not to go to the area as much for say Germany. Festhaus also has a chance of being rebuilt and bigger to hold almost double the people.
    That’s all for now

I have a relative who works in the administrative offices at Busch Gardens Europe and I have asked her for any details to anything and she says no one knows what the big announcement is and I doubt (even if she is wrong) that they would do all that so quickly and soon. I know Festhaus is so big already, the only way to make it hold double the people is to use the area between Festhaus and Curse of DarKastle or they would use the Festhaus Park. The chance of Spain being added in the Festhaus park is very likely and, building a bridge; I wouldn’t think so because of the costs and where it would connect to if it wasn’t connecting to the stables where the Clydesdale’s used to live. I think an expansion to France might be possible but they would probably want to add new countries first. Getting rid of Apollo’s Chariot I don’t think so, it is right in front of the park and is almost as important as the Griffon. I do want to say the most reasonable thing that I think would happen is construction of a new country mid-season or early-season to be opened late-2010 or in the 2011 season. The new Irish dancing show I can say they are replacing it with a new one and with how things look chaning Corkscrew Hill is most likely a no because as I said before they would probably add new countries and such before changing old things.

A note to the last comment
if the new bridge is going to be constructed than it would connect to the stables and you would be able to walk through there on a path to see the new animals up close. the path would then lead to another country there like ireland does to france.
