BGWFans Podcast Ep. 3

Here is Episode 3 of the BGWFans Podcast. You'll here Swiftman and myself discussing various topics regarding the park and Swift's trip to KD. I'll be updating the episode in the near future, but for now, here's the first version:

Wow... My voice sounds really bad. I thought it would though.

I used to have that but I kicked it when I was about 7. It took a little effort but it was worth it to get rid of.

Thanks for trying to make me feel better...

The real reason, however, is that I have verbal apraxia. The letter that gives me the worst trouble is "R" (as you can probably tell from the podcast). This is why, though I am a great writer, I could never be an orator. I'll write the speeches for others, but you will never see me at the podium.

I think when someone has been given an unusual voice it is because they are likely to say something that people should pay attention to.

Well, I'm glad I can say anything at all. When I was born the doctors told my mom that I'd never talk and would have to use one of those speaking boxes.

Oh man- Chris - the part when you asked Swiftman if he had dined with Elmo.. priceless. Good question though, have any of us here dined with Elmo? Too funny.

Amen to the remarks of the Europe in the Air ride. Amen. Sad though, because I was looking forward to something new (and good)... sadly, this is not so.

Trademarks and Copyrights are two different things (FYI) - being that I dabbled in film making and this was necessary to get a good grasp of before venturing out into the film market.

According to the US Copyright Office FAQ, copyright "protects original works of authorship including literary, dramatic, musical, and artistic works such as poetry, novels, movies, songs, computer software and architecture. Copyright does not protect facts, ideas, systems, or methods of operation, although it may protect the way these things are expressed."

The US Patent and Trademark Office says that "A trademark includes any word, name, symbol, or device, or any combination, used, or intended to be used, in commerce to identify and distinguish the goods of one manufacturer or seller from goods manufactured or sold by others, and to indicate the source of the goods. In short, a trademark is a brand name."

Poor England and Scotland - no Illuminights for them.

Yay for Swiftman and you being in the running for the Pretzel Coaster Finals! OOOooooo and Fur Dozy too... a battle!

I am going to try to go to every 80's band this year!! I was surprised that BGW snagged David Cooke though. I wonder how much that set them back in funds.

I did hear that Ramp Jam turned out really well and that you may be seeing it again next year.

KD is so sad!! Asphalt under Intimidator? Oh man... so sad. Ugh.. Shockwave....::shudder::

So sorry to hear that, Swift. You are, nonetheless, a great writer. I would have never known that you had verbal apraxia. Great podcast, though, guys! Looking forward to the next one!
