[singlepic id=459 w=320 h=240 float=left]Our “Best Roller Coaster” poll has officially ended and although Apollo’s Chariot came up short in the Theme Park Insider tournament, it brought home the win in our poll with 38% of the vote. Alpengeist and Griffon ended knotted up with 27% of the vote each thanks to a last minute vote for Griffon and the parks oldest coaster, Loch Ness Monster coming in last with just 8% of the total vote.
While my vote did not go to AC (most people know of my preference for Alpengeist over just about any other coaster), I can’t say that the I’m surprised by the outcome of the poll. For everyone that voted in the poll, thanks, make sure you vote in our new poll. As for those that didn’t get a chance to vote for the best coaster, you still have the chance to get your vote in on the current poll!
