April 30th Is A Big Day At The Park Previous The Pretzel-Coaster Contest Is Back! Next

If you’re a regular visitor to the site, you’re probably familiar with the online petition to have the effects in the Loch Ness Monster cave turned back on (or replaced). Well, this is my appeal to those that might not be regular visitors, if all of the casual visitors of this site took a minute out of their browsing time to sign this petition, we could reach the goal of 1,000 visitors in no time.
If you’re not familiar with the ride, or not familiar with the cave effects that we’re hoping to get back turned on, as you come out of the first loop you go into a cave that houses a few helixes. When the effects were on you would go through mist as well as be chased by Nessie as you sped along. It was just one of the things that made the ride even more special and is something that is a great childhood memory for not only myself, but many who experienced the ride while the effects were back on. The park repainted the ride this past offseason and has had the story sounds playing in the queue area, I hope we can let the park know that we’re missing just one final piece from the coaster and that we will one day see the effects turned back on.
So, please, if you get a chance, visit http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/bgws-loch-ness-monster-tunnel-lights to help us bring Nessie back to all of her former glory.
