A New Day, New Clues [Updated] Previous Bridge Connecting Heatherdowns & Ireland Being Redone? Next

Let me start off by saying that this is completely unconfirmed at this time, but multiple, seemingly independent sources, have claimed that the park filed for a 250ft. height waiver with the James City County Planning Commission. The 250ft. waiver was also applied for when Griffon was built since it was above 200ft. tall. So, keep in mind that just because the waiver is for 250ft., it doesn’t necessarily mean that the attraction will be that high.
Several individuals who don’t seem to have any connection to each other have reported this. So, we’ll find out soon if this is legit or if it’s a rumor that’s spread out rather quickly (which we’re perpetuating).
I should be able to confirm or deny this information relatively soon, so stay tuned.
Update:
Alright, I can confirm that this is just a rumor at this point, the park has not applied for a height waiver (yet?). This is not to say that this waiver will not be applied for down the road and perhaps this rumor originated from a source that is familiar with the parks plans. Time will tell.
