This morning the park released details about the new look for the stables in Heatherdowns. The stables are named Highland Stables and will feature Clydesdales, two Border Collie puppies, a flock of black-faced sheep and a Eurasian barn owl. The park says the owl and puppies will eventually lead herding demonstrations, but the puppies are just that and are a little too young for herding. On a side note, they’re certainly the right age to add a cuteness factor to the stables.
The barn itself has also been updated to give it a more rustic feel, replacing the shiny white fence with a picket fence. The clydesdales will not be the AB clydes, rather they will be black with markings that are common among Scottish draft horses.
