There is an ongoing conversation in our forums about why the Big Bad Wolf footers have not been removed. At first it would seem that perhaps the park didn’t want to take the time to remove the footers. However, this assumes that the removal of concrete footers is difficult. It turns out that footer removal is actually easier than the removal of the actual coaster was.
Nora, one of our regular contributors has pointed out the ease at which footers can be removed and the care that seems to have been taken to actually leave the footers intact, cleanly cutting the bolts rather than just pulling the supports down without consideration of the footers cracking/crumbling. It seems the discussion has moved from did the park want to keep these footers around to, why does the park want to keep the footers. The obvious thinking is that the park is planning an attraction that can use the footers… a Big Bad Wolf 2.0. But what do you think? Take a look at the pictures in the gallery below and then head over to the FORUMS to get into the discussion. We want to know what you think.
