With over one month left to go until Howl-O-Scream 2011 kicks off, we’ve been able to gather up the names and themes of all of the houses that will be featured at the parks annual event this season. Two of the houses have already been confirmed by the park, “13: Your Number’s Up“, which will be based on various common phobias and “Catacombs“, the tour through haunted Parisian catacombs. The remaining three are, “The Dead Line”, a subway themed renovation of the Escape From Pompeii house, “FearFair”, a haunted carnival located in Festa Italia and “Bitten”, the vampire themed house set back in Festhaus Park.
We also know that the three shows this year will be “Monster Stomp Revamped“, “Jack Is Back” and “Fiends at the Festhaus”. Fiends is the only one of the shows that has not yet been confirmed by the park.
The final mystery is the Scare Zones. The park has confirmed “Widow Makers“, a spider themed zone in New France, but no other information has been released just yet.
Update (8/21/11)
We’ve now been told what all of the Scare Zones are. The three that have been confirmed by the park thus far are Widow Makers (link above), Grin and Scare It in Italy and Unleashed in the Wild Reserve. According to a very reliable source, the last two will be “Scavengers” and “Stitch It Up”. It’s not clear where these zones will be located, but those will likely be the names. Keep in mind that the name for Dead Line was originally The Dead Zone but had to be changed for legal reasons. Until the park confirms the names, their obviously not official.
