Previous Pass Member Appreciation Weekend 2014 Presentation
Next
It has been far too long since we last did a photo update. Lets fix that.
Today we have a rather impressive number of Project 2015 pictures from some incredibly unique angles in addition to a massive collection of Howl-O-Scream 2015 construction photos. Enjoy!

Project 2015
Despite the fact that Project 2015 track has been on site for weeks now, Busch Gardens Williamsburg is still only in the beginning stages of construction on the actual future site of the coaster. Regardless, we managed to get some fantastic shots of the current state of the area between Apollo’s Chariot and Festa Italiana, the eventual home of BGW’s 2015 attraction.
First off, we have a panorama I think you’ll all enjoy quite a bit. You can navigate the image below by clicking and dragging or using the wheel at the top left.
Though the image above gives a fantastic overview of the construction area, it’s still not any replacement for good old fashioned pictures to see details and the like. With that in mind, here’s our full collection of pictures from the Project 2015 site:
Looking back towards the construction walls in Apollo’s Chariot’s extended queue
The area in front of Apollo’s Chariot’s queue
The area under Apollo’s Chariot
Looking towards Jumpin’ Jupiter Arcade
Looking back towards the Coke Market from next to Apollo’s lift
A closer look at the old Splashus Maximus area
The area directly under Apollo’s lift
A shot of the back side of the Coke Market from the opposite side of Apollo
Looking down Apollo’s lift from the parking lot side
And finally a nice overview shot showing the entire site

Howl-O-Scream
As one should expect for an event starting so soon, the park is nearly finished preparing for this year’s Howl-O-Scream event. Pictures of each area can be found below. Enjoy!

Ripper Row (Banbury Cross)
A ton of banners have replaced Banbury’s Union Jacks
And I mean a lot. These banners are everywhere
The park also hung up the familiar crows
The hotel facade is back up in front of the Globe
Oddly enough, the back of the hotel still has a banner for a show in The Globe Theater. Seems like a missed opportunity to advertise Monster Stomp
Speaking of The Globe, look what has been repainted!
Heatherdowns
It’s harder to take a scarecrow seriously with a hat like that
Now that’s a scary scarecrow
In addition to the scarecrows, the jack-o-lanterns have been hung overhead once again this year as well
What’s that I see? Could it be the BAP?
Ports of Skull (San Marco)
The bow of the boat at the entrance to Ports of Skull
Torcher Hill is back
The plank photo op is all setup
The front side of the plank
An overview of Torcher Hill looking back towards Da Vinci’s Cradle
Another overview of Torcher Hill, this time looking towards The Flying Machine
Here is Ports of Skull’s glow booth
One of last year’s mini golf-esque pirate statues
Here’s an overview of the new Crows Nest Grill
And from the right…
A closer look at its signage. I sorta like it.
Here’s an overview of The Pirate Bar
A look at the center back wall of The Pirate Bar
Another of the back walls on the Pirate Bar
An overview of the San Marco village
The interior of Captain Barghbie’s Booty is coming along nicely
Another shot of the inside
Here’s Captain Barghbie’s Booty’s mast outside the shop
Some skeleton pirates
Theming outside of Ristorante della Piazza
The San Marco/Oktoberfest bridge has been decorated again as well
Some neat pirate flags along the bridge
Lots of fabric, rats, and other stuff hanging along the bridge
Pirate laundry!
The Rhine River Cruise boats have their pirate flags as well
Vampire Point (Rhinefeld)
Entrance to Vampire Point from the Oktoberfest side of Rhinefeld
Skulls and chains hung above the walkway between Oktoberfest and Rhinefeld
Overview of Willkommenhaus
A look at the lower center, section of Willkommenhaus
A look at the top center of Willkommenhaus
An overview of Blood Banquet’s new stage
Blood Banquet’s ticket window
A look at the demon inside the center of The Vampire Point Hotel
A random little shack in Rhinefeld next to the fountain past the Rhinefeld archway
The vampire statue in the center of Rhinefeld’s entry fountain
Looking through the Vampire Point/Rhinefeld entry archway coming from New France
Le Scoot’s bridge has been decked out with bats this year
A closer look at some of the bats on Le Scoot’s bridge
Wendigo Woods (New France)
Overview of Windigo Wood’s entry guard towers
A closer look at one of the towers
The building permit for said towers
Demon Street (Aquitaine)
The Demon Street DJ skull
Decorations in the area around the DJ skull
All of the “hot wheels and garbage bag” banners are back
ALL of them
They’re seriously everywhere
The demon/dragon theming is back outside the Royal Palace Theatre
Catacombs theming beside the demon and dragon
The bottom of the La Belle towers have been decked out with demons
The inside of Le Belle has gotten a bit of theming as well
There’s a demon guarding the wine inside now as well
Wild Reserve
The Wild Reserve has gotten some odd combination of ghosts and spiders
At least it’s all fairly high-quality theming
… Well, except for this spider
Look what else is in the Wild Reserve…
Killarney
The entrance to Killarney has its Howl-O-Scream overlay
Insulation Station has been setup as well
Here’s the front of the park’s new dinner show, Igor’s Fright Feast Musical Revue. Interested to see how this one turns out
